absolutely adored everything the demo had to offer! the only thing i found myself wanting was being allowed to play more, though understandable given it's a demo. The very first day did leave me feeling pressed for time as I spent quite a while getting used to the controls (it wasn't until noon that I was finished with the crops) so perhaps slowing time for the first day or within your house could be much appreciated by people like myself that take a while to account for everything. will definitely be one of the first to purchase a copy!

as of right now (~3 weeks of release) the game can be "beaten" in 4-6 hours with the biggest hurdle being the "have 300 plants" quest. overall it's a nice relaxing thing to have on in the background while doing another task, though at the current price point i'd maybe wait until an update or two. Still shows great promise

some suggestions that i think could make the game a better experience:
-have more max souls, i've completed all of the quests but my souls still seem to cap out at 100? not sure if this is intentional or not since screenshots show having more

-have more animals be actively preyed upon, as it stands only rabbits and rats are hunted down by predators, i had an environment that had owls, foxes, rabbits, kiwis, and bison and once the rabbits had been hunted out the owls and foxes became strict scavengers rather than hunting the kiwis which i found quite odd

-gain souls for things dying of old age, the game states that you only gain souls for "natural deaths" aka not being removed but as i discovered you don't from old age either (i had nearly softlocked my completed game file as i had killed off everything on purpose to try and start anew, mostly by having a FULL forest before introducing animals, luckily i had gained some souls back from flowers dying off in winter) so in truth you only get souls from things being eaten, starving/thirsting to death, or succumbing to elements

-speed up/time skip options, while it is meant to be a relaxing game i often found myself wanting time to go Faster (especially in my pseudo new game+) so the plants could spread themselves

-more diversity in the non meadow biomes, it's likely going to be expanded upon already but as i write this the diversity goes 1-5 in meadow, tundra, desert, floe, savanah with the last 2 biomes having only the polar bear in the floe and NOTHING in the savanah (other than creatures in "all" environments)

-and most nitpicky for last is typos/misinformation, i'm going to give the developer the benefit of the doubt since it seems like english is not their first language but there's also some silly things like the polar bear being listed as an herbivore and birch being listed in the tundra despite it not being able to survive there in my attempts ^^'

overall as of writing this i'd give it a 6/10, wishlist it, and see how it goes

Library of Ruina has been a great game and a great experience and I'm disappointed to see the review bombing taking place, I had loved the original ending and it hurts to see people so vile as to wish harm to the creators to the point that they felt the need to change it to appease violent "fans" I simply wish ProjectMoon and the people behind this wonderful series well wishes on future endeavors <3
