so, I've finished the main story and I've grinded out a bit of powerful gear
overall I did have fun with the game, maybe I just like number go up farming when done well and its pretty good here as it was in DxM1 but just a bit more weapon variety could help, the bosses are very fun and the Colossus enemies definitely are the most fun to fight, movement is tight as heck, the story is certainly a step up from DxM1 in many ways but its def not perfect still, lots of "I am going to destroy" "why" "cuz I FEEL like it" type back and forths especially near the end
I did play on hard but as opposed to what other people say I don't think the damage dealt by bosses is too much, as long as you invested just a little bit of defense into your build through say attachments or making one of your arms bulkier n such you'll do fine and this is coming from someone who was using Explorer legs and Auxo arms for a good portion of mid game lol
I also think the primary mech for the player being an Exosuit isn't in any way a downgrade, parts look cool af, they play well and at the end of it all it plays like a really fluid mecha game, but I do wish the Heavy Arsenal's had either a bit more variety in how the player can use them or just weren't there at all because it feels very underbaked as an "ultimate" ability
For a UE5 game, the game is definitely optimized, I'm able to get consistent 120fps@1080 on a Ryzen 3700x/RTX 2080 Super with just a few settings adjustments
