If you want to play a very solid, capable, RTS, Try RUSE. It is the best RTS in terms of mechanics and play since 1998's Homeworld or 2007's Company of Heroes. Its the most innovative since Homeworld and pulls off what it wants to accomplish very well. The single player isn't it sharpest point, but the Skirmish/Coop campaign maps are.
