While it’s not truly scary, there’s something to be said about how easily they made these goofy looking puppets feel like a threat. The controls are excellent, the soundtrack is top-notch, and it gets surprisingly tense!

If you enjoy old school survival horror, that is to say: you don’t mind backtracking, then this game is something you should check out!

A minor gripe I have is that it can be easy to overlook important/key items, but the map usually helps you avoid this by marking rooms incomplete until you’ve discovered everything.

I do also wish it was a bit longer and a bit more truly scary. It comes close in the location you visit at the end.

Regardless, this was an evening well spent!

There's a great game hiding behind controls that are in desperate need of love and attention. The visuals are excellent, and timing a run just right can be exhilarating, but the experience is held back because the rigid and mechanical controls stand in stark contrast to the intended fluidity of the movement.

I don't regret my purchase though!

While it's not as good as RE2Remake, RE3 is still a solid entry in the series. Yes, it's short. Yes, there's cut content.

But what is there is a great experience, and really characterizes its lead characters in a way that the original just failed to do(imo). The combat is fun and fluid, the zombies more vicious than before, and all the little goodies make it worth the money.

If you can get this game on sale, it's worth every penny.

Dying Light is everything an Open World zombie-based survival horror game should be. The only downside is poor choices regarding the endings for the main campaigns - although this may just be a personal opinion.

It's easy to get side tracked just because there's so much to do and see.
