The game is really fun, the gunplay feels very satisfying and there are a lot of options for weapons and attachments, the map variety is great because it has fast paced maps and slow paced ones and everything in the middle.
Multiplayer is great aside from the horrible voice chat, lag compensation is great and I don't notice any delays playing with someone from NA.
However, I cannot recommend this game because, even using multiple anticheats that have full GNU/Linux support, they screwed something on their end so that this game doesn't work on linux systems and I have to use a stupid laptop to play it.
It would be great if the developers cared for their product and at least made the effort to disable whatever kind of proprietary malware they added to the anticheats that already support linux.
But to 0 effort product, 0 effort consuming.

The game is great, not too deep into combat mechanics but it has everything mmorpgs used to have in the social aspect. There are a lot of customization options, a lot of things to do with your friends, servers work great most of the time.
Maybe the chat system is a bit bad, and the horrible kafkaesque UI typical from asian games makes interacting with the game a bit slower and confusing.
But I can't recommend this game because they just rug pulled with the ACE anticheat, which is in violation of the Steamworks agreement: https://v1.steam.hlxgame.cc/groups/steamworks/announcements/detail/4547038620960934857

Aside from the devs obviously never having been to southern europe, this game is really, really good.
No issues at launch that make the game unplayable, devs took the time with care and love to optimize this game, they had good attention to details and it just feels like a team that loved making it, which is really rare in today's gaming industry.
I haven't played the previous Dying Light games, but the parkour feels good and natural, and sometimes it feels like a tiny puzzle thinking how to get to a point, which I enjoy a lot.
The combat is super satisfying with the l4d2 zombie dismembering style, the sounds fit really good, and everything just works so well together.

Soulless game, no attention to details, horribly lazy development that relies on AI as their ONLY method of optimization.
You can tell from the first cringe fighting scene with some generic song in the background that the story is going to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, which is. Waste of time not to skip the cutscenes. The only remains of good character development are stolen from the older games from when I guess they actually enjoyed making games, back in Borderlands 2.
The gameplay is alright, but the AI "optimizations" make it a chore to play this game.
$200 worth of content my ass, greedy CEO.
They delivered on the open world aspect they promised, that's the only good thing I will give them.
But if a game is on a spectrum between art and product, this is far on the product side.

They doubled down in a community post "clarifying" the censorship, so I am leaving this review to clarify to other customers.
They will replace the guns for water toy guns like Apple did with their emoji.
It was already kinda dodgy they made expensive DLCs with minimal content, they just went the full corporate pipeline now.

for a game about fishing, this is lacking much content and is lacking the peaceful relaxation that a fishing game should have

this should steer into one direction more, and regardless of which direction it goes, it should get way more content regardless
at the moment, it's not worth purchasing, but it's a very interesting concept and I believe, if the developer doesn't abandon it, that it could be a great game
i cant give it a negative review knowing the potential of this game, but just be careful considering the lack of content and the propensity of smaller devs to abandon their games

Be thankful that the netcode developers of this game are busy making code for videogames instead of coding important things like life support medical equipment or big machinery that could put people in danger.

I am not a supporter of the capital punishment, but things are different for the developer of this game.
The origin of these cartoon characters come from some sort of stupid tiktok joke using AI to generate random characters and using voice synth AI with Italian accent to speak nonsense over the images.
This game clearly just uses some cheap store assets, some like the movement, which isn't even configured properly, Y is to peek to the right for some reason. Then on top of that, it steals some content, like tiktok songs using the stupid Italian AI voice.
I would say there is no AI content apart from the stupid characters and the stolen content, but seeing at the store description of the game, I doubt the developer has done anything themself, instead of just writing prompts on chatgpt to make this game. And no, writing prompts has no artistic value, has no originality fulfillment, creates absolute no value for society, it does nothing, and whatever it does, it does bad, and this game is a good example of that.
Things are not unfinished, they are in a state of "well this is good enough, and I don't have enough skill to modify whatever chatgpt spit on my face, so I'll leave it like this." And this is more embarrassing when you realize this whole game was released on October 2024 with another name "Summon: Joint escape" but without the AI characters. This version of the game just adds the AI characters and doubles the price of the game. It doesn't even fix the broken path tracing, the broken view rays that should stop the ballerina from running to you, the cheap ass static waypoint navigation of the shark.
This is what AI work looks like, a soulless project, that was rushed to make a "product" the fastest way possible.
In only 15 minutes of gameplay I've seen enough, this is trash, there is no salvation.

Nobody would be proud of this work, the objective of this game is to sell, and with 50 reviews I don't think selling your soul is worth it.
There probably is a reason why Goosix Games has no public presence apart from a telegram channel, it's because nobody is proud of this "work" if you can call it that.

I will talk to my therapist about this game and its devastating consequences on my mental health and how it is a detriment for my friendships.
