Absolutely a great time. Block graphics aside, 127v127 quick battles are amazing and smooth.

Besides the amazing sound track and overall sound design for this game. Subnautica is a survival game with some amazing world building around it. The developers did an amazing job building this world.

Do not expect any updates to GTA V single player. This has now become GTA Online exclusively when it comes to content releases.

RimWorld does a great job and destroying your hopes and dreams of ever being able to survive on a randomly generated planet.

At times it can be easy, and at other times, you just wish all your colonist would die in a freak accident that was caused from the drug addict in your colony.

A must have for Elite Dangerous. Heads up though, it was a bit of a headache to get activated on my account.

You have to make sure you have billing and shipping info and you steam account linked to their site in order for Elite Dangerous to pick up Horizons.

You will know it is activated when your launcher is blue.

This Civ out the gate felt as though it wouldn't need future DLCs to help it up unlike previous Civs

Already uninstalled this game. Not playing a game where the developers go back on the ♥♥♥♥ they say and ♥♥♥♥ on the community.

Also, Microtransactions in a game with already a ♥♥♥♥ ton of DLC.

All Came down to "Failed to Communicate with Server"

Well that's just frustrating. Spend 2 hours on a mission and get a "Failed to Communicate with Server" Errors. So I can't turn it in. your system says your servers are all up. Than why the hell am I sitting here with a mission not turning in! I just wasted my time for nothing, I have 8 hours left on the mission and I need to go to bed, the mission was a simple "Go here, pick this up, go here." With a 10 hour timer. That is some absolute garbage.

I want to like this game, but that right there just kills the experience for me. If I'm going to grind out missions like this and have a chance to run into a situation like this, than why the hell bother.

What hurts even more is the fact that I had to really sit down and learn how to control everything. The tutorial is below-par. The fact that it relies on videos outside of the game to teach you how to fly and control your ship is just... lazy. I have to alt-tab back and forth, pause and rewind. It's a damn nightmare to manage and learn.

So in it's current state, I don't recommend it. It has potential, but that kind of grind with a chance of no reward is just pointless and a down right middle finger to the player.

Edit

I came back to the review, while I stand where I do now, let me say that in no way am I try to bash the game. The potential is there, but in it's current state I would exactly do what this system is set out to do. I would not recommend this game. I really do want to like this game!

The grind is just to much and to repetitive for a game of this scale. We will see what happens over the coming months with the updates and everything, but I feel like even players who will see this on consoles soon will be sorely disappointed.

As with any Civ game, the thing that is missing is the DLC.

With Civilization: Beyond Earth you need to pick up the DLC along with it. Bare bones is not a fully finished, fully developed game.

With the release of Rising Tide I would fully recommend this game, and if need be would rate this game a 7.5 / 10 with the Rising Tide DLC.

Without it the game suffers and sits at a 5/10.
