To start: I don't know if it's because I didn't start playing until 2-3 days after release, or what, but I've so far not run into any of the major bugs/issues that many others have talked about. So if you're wondering whether to get/start playing the game now, whether things have been fixed, it does seem like many of them in fact have been.

Onto the game itself: I've found it extremely enjoyable so far. The setting is VERY richly imagined. It feels more alive than many other games of its genre. You get the very clear impression that even the whole, giant map of the game world is only a small slice of the over all size of Night City, and it really pulls you into the immersiveness of it.

The story (so far) is engaging and the dialog generally well done. What I've found, too, is that even putting the main story on pause and exploring the rest of the city and doing smaller side jobs and things that you stumble on is just as much fun, and varied.

The gameplay is a mix of things that you'll be familiar with from any number of FPS games mixed with a few new tweaks and innovations that definitely add flavor. The quickhacks and things you can use are fun, though I don't always remember to use them in the middle of a firefight.

Overall I'd give it an 8/10. It's definitely not perfect, only 20 or so hours in, it's the most fun I've had on a PC game in a long while.
