**Updated Review:** 28 Feb 26 -- Honestly, it feels like Arrowhead is more focused on making money than on genuinely improving and fixing Helldivers 2. The only way they’ll understand our concerns is through negative reviews and a reduced sales.

There are still game-breaking bugs, strange hitbox and collision/pathing issues, and some frustrating decisions regarding gameplay and balancing. You can find legitimate grievances all over the community, whether on Reddit, Discord, or in-game.

Furthermore, the game is missing basic quality-of-life features (loadouts) that have been absent for two years. It suffers from abandoned or poorly implemented features, such as weapon customization, and factions still lack enemies.

Additionally, content is being locked behind war bonds with minimal effort put into the free additions throughout the campaign. What is released often seems poorly coded by Arrowhead, not thoroughly tested, and designed to pressure players into spending money to "solve the problems" they create. It's rather disappointing for a PvE game.

**Older Review** 2 Nov 25 -- Once again, Arrowhead shows complete disrespect and abuse to its player base with random updates, "Hotfixes" that create more instability and crashes. I am now unable to play the game at all, and unable to receive any assistance other than the instant copy-paste "Update your BIOS" post from the Discord. Sadly, his dev team cannot integrate basic exception or error handling.

Can't recommend the game right now.

With developers who seem to be chronically tone deaf and show their biases, it's best not to expect any future content, balances, or patches for this game. The presence of cheaters and poor gameplay design choices only adds to the uncertainty about the game's future.

Even though the Devs have acknowledged the problems, they seem to be sitting idle and letting the game die. The single player experience is a buggy, subpar one, and the multiplayer component is showing signs of decline. This is not a game I would recommend.

This game had the potential to be a great one, but ultimately, the developers' apathy led to its end.

Would be an enjoyable experience if it was for the piss poor server quality, inconsistent server-side client-side hit, and hitbox detection. There is a reason the population for this game keeps dwindiling and its Psyonix's utter lack of skill and will to create a consistent gaming experience. Avoid this game and spare yourself endless frustration caused by crap programming.
