this game is really not great currently but will be someday, just missing a lot of pieces. I'm only playing because i'm desperate for more poe1

Who would want their data to be at risk by requiring sony accounts. I have a lot of money and time into my steam account and will not risk it by linking a sony account to it.

Thankfully sony reverted the change. Now I will change my recommendation as this is an excellent game.
