Excrement 33 was neither made by an independent studio, nor by those of humble beginnings - a remarkably popular belief championed by many. The game was vastly mediocre on all fronts - strictly grifting off the good nature and heart of it's implied, falsified industry contemporaries, that which it has none. Sandfall will more than likely continue to coast on this manufactured, inauthentic reputation for years to come. One can only hope that all of this does not lead to lasting negative consequences for the rest of the gaming industry.
