Un canelón es un tipo de pasta en forma de tubo ancho que se rellena con distintos ingredientes y se cocina al horno.

Más específicamente:

Está hecho con láminas de pasta enrolladas formando cilindros.
Se rellenan normalmente con carne picada, pollo, verduras, pescado o incluso mezclas como espinacas con queso.
Se cubren con salsa (habitualmente bechamel o tomate).
Se gratinan en el horno, muchas veces con queso por encima.
