one of the best timekilling games especially with friends once you get into it, first season is a bit slow but after it I've had many 10+ hour sessions on it without realizing. 10/10

The Definitive best game ever. nothing else can even compare to it's levels of gore and action. the only thind it's lacking is more achievements.

I may have 82 hours in this game, but unfortunatly i don't think i'll ever pick it up and play it again. almost all of the hours were when the game had next to no story, and I personally think that the story made the game too linear. my experience with starbound has been like this.

got the game, played it a bunch when the story was literally "beat the next boss to progress," and I liked the feeling of that I didn't need to progress unless i felt like it. Then chucklefish started adding missions which, i'm okay with, but it felt like they were making a hollow mansion and making into a tight corridor. I think the main reasons i felt like this is that you now had to teleport off into a mission instead of fighting the boss on the planet via summoner. Once they did this my fun with the game plumeted from very fun too boring. one thing that doesn't help Starbound is that you can basically complete the game with 6 keys. all you need to type is /admin. that's it, so I've techniaclly beaten starbound many times, and because of how boring I get in the begining of the game I'll inevitably type in /admin before the 1 hour mark.

don't take what i'm saying too seriously i'm just stating my opinion, not fact, this game turned from perfectly fun game, to boring "do usless tasks to unlock the next boss mission," type game. i can definitly see the appeal, but i just don't like extremely linear games that used to be an open adventur style game. the game could still be classified as okay in my opinion, because I did have a ton of fun with it before they added in more than 5 missions. it just made the game more linear when they added more. also i'm not giving away my copy of the game so don't even ask.
