Best expansion in Destiny's 10 year history. The absolute pinnacle of Bungie's storytelling capabilities. Felt like a proper conclusion to everything we've been through over the last decade. The campaign was a great time, well designed, perfectly challenging, and really let you feel the exaggerated swagger of a transcendent guardian. The 7th mission, which is the last until the finale is released after world's first, was especially challenging in the best ways. But after getting some super good advice from the community, you will overcome it. Prismatic feels immensely powerful, while maintaining a feeling of complexity that requires some patience and time to master.

Arrowhead started off making this one of the most player-oriented, anti-live service games on the market, then at some point pivoted to balancing it in a way that can be likened to that of a DnD DM actively playing against their players, rather than with them. For every minor fix, every small buff, every new addition to the player's armory, they feel the need to balance it with 10 times the amount of buffs to the enemies. Just today, we received the exosuit warbond, and a balance patch that increased exosuit health by almost twice the old value. This sounds great until you see the further patch notes detailing that virtually every enemy variant in the game was given greater durable damage values, effectively nullifying the exosuit buffs. And for extra points, they also increased the armor value of a chaff enemy to heavy, rendering the vast majority of primary and secondary weapons, as well as multiple chaff-focused sentries, far less effective against them. From the way they balance this game, you would think the enemy factions have people playing as them, complaining about balance far more than the real playerbase. They have also completely abandoned several things that made the game special at the start, including but not limited to: players actually having an effect on the galactic war, and meaningful community rewards for major order completion. Any time players take initiative and try to take a planet strategically, when it is not intended by AH, instead of allowing it and adjusting the plot for it, they reinforce the enemy tenfold, making the liberation virtually impossible, killing the overall theme of the game that attracted so many players in the first place. Arrowhead has fallen so out of touch, and unfortunately it does not seem to be a result of corporate intervention, but the developers themselves simply forgetting why people loved their game.
