Without spoiling anything. So far this game has fulfilled on everything I expected from a Hollow Knight sequel and more.

Edit: I am incredibly pleased with the direction that this game has taken to differentiate itself from hollow knight. So far my opinion is that the bosses, movement, soundtrack, and even just common enemies are much better in design than hollow knight. I'm not saying that hollow knight isn't good (It is go play it if some how you have not) but this game took 7 years to make for a reason.
