For fans of Metroidvanias and the Elden Soulsbourne games alike, I highly recommend Hollow Knight. The three-man dev crew that is Team Cherry made this game over seven years ago. Playing this is knocking a good amount of the rust off my past playing the Metroid games and incorporating that level of resilience and adaptability into playing this. The fact that this game has no set completion order makes it that much more of a gem in a genre that establishes an urge to complete every challenge set before the player, so long as they're up to it. The sound design is charming, the combat is tight, the mechanic set is impressive, the story is engaging, and yes the difficulty will make it challenging in a way that will make players hungry for more.

This game, even in single player, is a combat and survival game with a rather engaging story. Armor sets may require a grind for material, but in the end even the grind is rewarding.

This game is highly addictive and easy to get the hang of. The character customization of the survivors and killers are mainly cosmetic, but it doesn't make things less enjoyable. I recently played a match with a killer that was very friendly and got to give them a fairly decent chase (my heart was pounding the whole time and the hand I had on my mouse was trembling from the rush, and I LOVED every millisecond of it). There are some that use broken builds, that make things frustrating for both sides, but that balances things out. I enjoy a good challenge, and if the odds get stacked against me, I only want to try harder to get a victory in my next match. 10/10 I DEFINITELY recommend.

A decent Murder Mystery game with a Sonic game. It's fun, it's challenging, it's Sonic. I recommend this to someone who wants to kill an afternoon.

Grew up playing the original AoE on PC in the mid-90's, this is a HUGE blast from the past for me. The mechanics have held together well over the years, the gameplay is smooth, the option to play with Classic AoE graphics is a nice touch that adds to the nostalgia for long-time fans of the franchise, and the new narration for the Campaigns is a nice addition that plays to the over-all magnitude of the game itself. All-in-all, I highly recommend this if you're into one of the original RTS games.

This software is a good, free, substantial "gateway," for those looking to get their feet wet with character creation, scenery design, lighting placement, and other animation elements in general. There are entire channels of Tutorials on how to use Blender on YouTube, consisting of various, how to's, guides, and entire workshops that will walk you through the aforementioned fields of 3d animation.

I've only had a few hours of using Blender, but it's helped me remember the hours I spent using AutoDesk Maya as part of my core classes back in my last 18 months of college. Speaking of Maya, Blender once had a hotkey configuration that was similar to Maya, if it's possible, in a future version it would be best to add that configuration back (to accomodate those who cannot afford Maya or any higher grade animation software).

Ah, the massive nostalgia I have from the Age of Empires games takes me back to the day I started playing the original AoE game, when I was a child in Kindergarten. It's because of this series this series that I got into gaming. AoE II: AoK hooked me instantly and I played it avidly. Granted, when I was a kid, I was the one who constantly used cheat codes. These days I play smart, and the updated version of this game along with the new expansions fills me with pride to know that the Microsoft development team didn't forget it's 90's RTS audience even years after the release of AoE III. I hope there is a Steam release of the new AoE: HD Definitive Edition soon. 10/10 will continue playing for nostalgic reasons.

Totally a game worth buying if you're into the whole Sci-Fi FPS RPG genre mash-up. It may be 8 years old, but I can see why so many people played it back in the day. If I'd had Steam and the funds with which to buy it, I would have played the living daylights out of this. Bought this during the sale back around Independence Day and I can say I'm having a blast playing it :)

I will say that reload times for some weapons are a little annoying, especially when being swarmed by Skags -_- but other than the being out numbered (my fault entirely 99.99% of the time), I can say that once I've finished this game and the DLC, I'll be headed right toward the sequel and the pre-sequel.
