I like it. Scratches the itch that D4 did (which got to a point it wasn't running reliably on Linux).

Currently level 10, feeling out the a kind of rogue/stormcaller mix.

The first boss made me rethink my approach and do a couple circuits/levels for better gear and abilities then next attempt was one and done and through it.

I like the pace so far. I do find the story that unravels interesting. Happy I bought it, looking forward to more.

Pretty fun! Refreshingly different puzzles than other games/places. Gave me the "Keep talking and nobody explodes" vibe for the puzzle parts and the fact that there is a manual to figure out stuff.

I like how there is a timed mode (easier tasks and more per day) but also a non-timed mode (harder tasks but no time pressure) as I generally prefer no time pressure.

Humor is good, some things unfold as you play the game and it seems each game day there's something new.

You need coins/cash to pay your rent (increases) and buy tools/machines or expand the shop, but you get another type of currency to pick permanent perks that persist across runs.

Second day on the job got a quick ticket to the afterlife from a hitman (I died; could that have been prevented?) but I got Zooped.

Tip: not all inks are visible in normal light.

P.S. Uncle Chop can go get his bacon fried.

You'll love it.

I enjoy this game. I've only played through level 17 so far (solo, open world). I have not yet played in multiplayer.

You currently have a choice of OPEN WORLD, MISSIONS, or OUTPOST (persistent build space). While in Open World you do have some access to simpler missions and expeditions.

Anyway, I enjoy the pace of the gathering/build/tech tree unlock and talent unlocks. Some tech is locked to a certain character level and above. The progression pace seems to be well planned. It hasn't felt grindy yet.

I held off on buying this earlier on from mixed reviews but much progress has been made in QoL and other features. I have NOT bought any of the DLC yet but probably will once I hit Lvl 20+ as I'll have a well established house/base by then and probably will want to start decorating more.

Overall enjoyed this game. It got much more interesting as in-game days progressed. If you like point-click adventures and a mystery to unravel then you'll like this game. This, like many other similar games was made using Adventure Game Studio (AGS) per the credits. Search for that will also reveal games you never knew were out there, including some remakes of famous games.

Overall very enjoyable, and I'm only about 29% through in as many hours.

Many things to do and unlock in the game. I think the pacing of revealing other facets, skills, or spells is just about right and keeps you engaged.

A variety of ways to play how you like: plants can attack for you, use spells in various combos, use curses or not, play stealthy, etc.

There are various puzzles to solve, some take some thought (numeric or 3D movement of objects) and some are simpler (unlocking doors, etc.). For most activities the time you invest in various challenges or tasks reward you with something (cosmetic, inventory space or other capacity, etc.)

Yep, It's FUN. GET IT!

I've realized I like ARPGs but NOT BY KEYBOARD.....loved Diablo once I tried it with a gamepad.....same here, love this when I use a game pad. That's ME thing. Anyway, Bits of story throughout, I've only played through the first 2 of 3 zones on the first level. I really like the balance of lore and progress. Have access to 3 characters by now. It's NOT meant to be once and done...the story is told in bits, you're not beefy enough to hit the first boss on your first or third go....relax, try out the growing skills across characters...and the various dungeon events that change, the buffs, tuffs (mini bosses / elite monster(s) ), the building synergies and unlocks, some of which apply to the whole 'family'.....now if I can find someone to play co-op with me....

Oh my gosh, so much FUN!

I played two regular rounds then played the daily (and finished).

Fight monsters, buy from merchants, stumble on a random encounter/choice, loot, and rest on your way to fight the boss of each 'level'.

Acquire more cards, relics, potions. Modify/upgrade your cards. You can choose to REST at camp or upgrade a card (and maybe more if you have a certain relic).

There are curses but those might be playable (with a certain relic). Buffs, debuffs, status effects.

Every spot/encounter that was a monster 'fight' was full of variation yet you still have plenty of choices with the various cards, skills, powers, relics you have or get.

I was NOT BORED AT ALL. Good balance to the choices/mechanics.

GREAT JOB! And it's Early Access! I'm impressed.

BUY IT!

What a hoot! This game is fun: many options and angles to solve each mini mission.

Not part of the mission but you stumble across gorillas in a cage? Why not hack their doors open and let them sort our their captivity with the 'scientists'. You never know when a loyal companion will be handy.

Need a random clone to aid you? Hack a clone machine.

Want to figure out those fancy security systems? Hack them and turn them on the owners.
(can you tell I like the Hacker character?)
....
and there are many other types of characters to play. Plenty of fast-paced shoot-em-up if that's how you want to approach every situation. What situation doesn't resolve well with a grenade or a shottie?

One wave I had to dodge ZOMBIES while I was trying to finish...!

LOVE IT!

Really enjoy this. It falls between the mindless shooting (it's not) and the uber high strategy games (it's not)...You need to consider the particular level layout and plan your safe route out. Some levels are a little harder than others as you might have more unpowered rooms to deal with scattered about than others.

I haven't 'won' yet but I'm taking my time going through levels (have died a few times) refining strategy.

Pretty fun game. Have only played 2 hours but it was really fun to learn the ropes. Had a couple of 4 seconds left wins...even one that was 0.36 seconds before oblivion win! Played with family. We played that when the bomb difusser blows up then we switch positions. Yes, there are times the 'team' failed and times the 'expert' let me down by being confused about the instructions and wasted time (not on purpose) or otherwise didn't read the instructions carefully and called out the wrong thing to do (= a strike; too many strikes and it explodes, too!) REALLY FUN!!! GET THIS GAME!! Only one person needs the game, the other person reads the manual and talks you through what to do based on what you see.
