after reading a lot of the negative reviews I have come to the conclusion that there is a skill issue. you cant play this like dark souls. you need to throw objects, kick boxes and barrels, kite enemies into explosives, do acrobatics, and knock enemies into walls and objects, to stun them, knock them over, break their guard, etc. if you rely solely on attack/dodge/parry you WILL lose.

The balance is all over the place (the new items and characters are kind of OP, but so are the new enemies), Voidling and Simulacrum are a little disappointing but still worth trying out to switch things up, the new stages are great for variety and look incredible, the characters are a lot of fun, the items are interesting and useful for the most part, and the enemies/void seeds are challenging and mix things up quite a bit.
