Fun gameplay loop and amazing story. I know you might not expect much from an Elastomania shooter, but that's why you might be pleasantly surprised.

This is a well balanced boomer shooter with satisfying gunplay and elegant enemy design. After 3 hours of playtime, and despite of this title being in Early Access, I have not encountered any bugs yet.

It's just the first level of Ravenholm, but it's still nice. It's too short, but that's always better than too long. Have fun!

I want this game to be fun, but the gameplay is awful :(
- The controls are sluggish. Your character moves extremely slowly.
- The inventory screen is confusing and clumsy.
- Zombies spawn infinitely off-camera, sometimes even in the same room with you!
- Ammunition is extremely rare, so you must rely on melee weapons due to infinite zombies.
- Melee weapons are slow and clumsy. Their range is shorter than any zombie attack range FFS!
- Level design makes no sense. You don't know where to go and it's hard to see in the darkness.
- Objective hints tell you what is meant to happen, but you don't know how to make it happen.
- Irrational solutions to obstacles. You have explosives and gas canisters, but you need to find a specific dynamite item to explode a wooden wall???
- Invisible walls everywhere, so you can't escape the zombies.
- Zombies are silent so you don't hear them sneaking up at you from behind, where they keep spawning!
- Weapon ironsights take up half of the screen so they are hard to aim with.

Thus all the good things about this game are not enough to save it for me:
- Weapon animations, sounds and variety is great!
- Weapon & ammunition management is a nice coop mechanic.
- Zombie animations and deaths are good.
- The atmosphere is good.
- Overall graphics are okay,

I was playing on Casual difficulty (which is extremely hard and feels outright impossible) on solo. I had to start using cheats to have any fun due to how unfair this game is. It still wasn't good :(

I can't recommend this game to my friends. It would be a group waste of time. I hope there is a mod or something that addresses all of my issues, because a coop game with Romero zombies sounds like an awesome concept!

We want to play CS2 cooperatively together against bots, but so far this is impossible to do. We don't care about cosmetics, competition or leaderboards. I will update this review when casual play according to our rules is possible, just like how it was in CS1.6, CS:S and CS:GO.

A beautiful game with interesting narrative, immersive sounds and amazing music.
The only problem is the gameplay loop during the first half of the game. I got lost and stuck often.
However, it gets better and better in the 2nd half of the game. I am looking forward to more games from Jumpship!

A must play for every Half-Life fan, despite of some minor issues with level design (I got stuck a few times). The story is engaging and gameplay is fun. The only downside are the graphics that make the game look like it's from 2007.
Still, it's a great compensation for the missing Half-Life 2: Episode 3.
