An early access gem that I have only started to scratch the surface of! Once through the tutorial, you're off to explore the world, within a few minutes, I'd picked up passengers and started my first plundering against some poor freebooter that wasn't prepared for my close quarters violence. "Take control of the ship?" the game asks. Not this one, I prefer my ships a little less on fire!

You start with only one ship and that's enough to start with - 2 hours in and I've only just picked up my second ship of the line from the Danes by peppering it with cannonballs until the flagship sunk! I think you could probably grow your fleet a lot faster but I was just enjoying sailing about picking fights that I may not win.

I've not tried the land based RTS elements yet - but the tutorial showed me that it's pretty solid. I'm looking forward to building up my fleet and starting to take control of islands for some passive income. I have touched on diplomacy but only because I've picked a fight with the Danes. They're at war with the English right now, so I need to pick my targets carefully from here on.

It's definitely Early Access but the scale of content, scope and polish is far beyond what's needed to get your money's worth here.

If you like ship combat, pirates, Mount and Blade, some strategy (I expect I've not even scratched the surface of that) then this is for you!

A thoroughly excellent chill builder with a surprising array of features for a demo. As it is now, it has Townscaper-but-it's-ships vibes and I love that.

Delighted to be onboard to see this evolution and will definitely purchase when released. Another triumph for the Ursee!

Popmoji is a guilty pleasure that I like to dip into when my brain needs something soothing. I've played waaaaay longer on my mobile than on PC, possibly even 10 hours in total. Well worth the money and have gifted to friends.

It's a huge amount of fun - an old-school FPS with no frills but excellent balance. The polish is high and art style is good. The team modes are a nice break for those of us that are rubbish at FPS. Although there are only a handful of maps, the number of game modes means that they stay pretty fresh. CTF on the space station feels very different to the claustrophobic container ship.

The bots are hilariously brutal, I found myself running away from knife-wielding bots in blind panic on a number of occasions. Will be piling in with mates and family for sure.

Superb anomaly hunting game with a simple but effective story that threads through every detail.

Sadly Multiplayer is buggy as hell.

A firm family favourite! The beauty of the game is that you set the difficulty. When I am playing with adults, we can be utterly evil with our placements and when you play with small kids, you can make things a little easier. Well worth the money as we keep coming back for more.

No rebinding of keys, which is the most basic accessibility option required for lefthanders - which is 10% of the population.

Bulwark is a wonderful chill builder with a resource and RTS side to it. There is nothing more delightful than settling down with a cup of tea picking a place where you want to build and working out how best to get the resources there. Once the resources are in, it's just build build build! Superb.

Sala's world building is second to none. Every time I play I feel I want to see a Netflix series based on the lives of the people in the Ursee.

It's a wonderful fun game!
