Ja die anderen zwei Teile als Remake aber das Leben ist kein Wunschkonzert und EA hat vor langer Zeit aufgehört sinn zu machen.

Hammer Grafik aber das Gameplay ist fragwürdig.

My opinion after finishing the game

First off, I have to say it's exactly my kind of setting. I love the PlayStation 1 aesthetic, and science fiction is my favorite genre anyway. So, I might be a little biased. Just a heads-up.

1. Gameplay
There's nothing that really bothers me. It's like any other Survivors game, where you get stronger the longer you play and unlock things. I don't see any balance issues at the moment. It plays smoothly and quickly.

2. Characters
There are only two characters at the moment, and in my opinion, once you unlock the Psychic ability, there's no reason to switch to the soldier. Two characters are too few, but the developers have already said that more are coming. So, no problem from my side.

3. Weapons
All the weapons serve their purpose. Some weapons are useless for my playstyle, like the laser, but I've also considered what some people wrote here in the forum when the discussion about manual aiming came up. It's not a twin-stick shooter, and changing that would destroy the developers' vision. The only solution I see is to add optional manual aiming, but only if you nerf the weapons in that mode that benefit the most from it. But as I said, I don't like the laser, but there are plenty of alternatives that I enjoy. So, all good.

My favorite weapons are the shotgun, rockets, pulse wave, electro-zapping (I don't know the correct name right now), and autogun. But my absolute favorite is the hammer. That thing is brutal, and once it's leveled up, it's just awesome. The only thing is that the evolution is rather weak; I'd prefer it if the hammer emitted a shockwave in all directions. But that's just what I would like.

4 - Progression
It's fair. I'm not entirely sure about some of the upgrades; I'm not sure if they work correctly. For example, killing an enemy at close range gives them a chance to drop credits. It doesn't work for me, and I'm literally standing nose to nose with the enemy. That is, if the creatures even have noses. But you know what I mean. It was a good 15 hours that I spent on it. Now there are just a few minor things I need to unlock, mainly in the green skill tree, but they won't significantly change my overall experience.

5 - The Rest
What I absolutely love is the gore. When I'm fully leveled up and the hammer slams into a group of enemies, the red gore practically sprays into the camera. Love it.

In conclusion, I have to say I enjoyed playing through it in one sitting more than I'm tempted to continue playing Borderlands 4. And I'm a Borderlands fanboy.

I'm looking forward to everything that's still to come and will remain loyal to this developer, continuing to buy their games.

Who says you need a billion-dollar budget to make a truly great game?

The only thing I don't understand is why the game wasn't released in Early Access. Not that I'd prefer it; I already have a pretty messed-up relationship with this EA nonsense. I'm just curious because it would have been a good fit here.

Anyway, for me it's a clear 10/10.

This game is garbage; anyone who buys it is being completely ripped off.

1. Resources are always too scarce. The amount is always chosen so that you never have enough. Resource management is completely useless when it takes 5 shots to kill a standard enemy out of the 13 you have, and that's only if you reload the weapon. Which makes the whole charge mechanic absurd.
That would actually work if there weren't three more opponents. Running away? Sure, if those jerks are blocking my way in a narrow corridor, running away is definitely an option.

2. The inventory size is an insult. And also designed so that you never have enough space. This isn't a survival horror game experience; it's a "I'm a rat and I eat garbage out of the trash" simulator.

3. Upgrades are also useless because the enemies get proportionally stronger. At the beginning, it took 4 shots for one enemy, now after 4 hours, it takes 6-7 shots. After Upgrading my weapon twice.

4. Cryptic story that might make sense at some point, but as a player, you constantly wonder what you're even doing.

5. The environment is constantly the same, just with a different color and details.

Anyone who thinks they're getting a good Dead Space alternative should play Callisto Protocol instead. That game is also really bad, but at least the graphics and atmosphere are decent. This game proves once again that you shouldn't believe advertising.
And if you're someone who actually likes this, I can shove a cactus up your ass every day; that would be right up your alley.

Survival horror is about mastering and triumphing over resources in a hostile world that's trying its best to kill you. But when someone gives you 20 bullets and says 10 of them are useless, that's not survival horror; it's a pathetic attempt to imitate it.

Note: Have you ever noticed that with most so-called AAA games, you only realize how crappy they are after you've passed the 2-hour mark?

7 Stunden für die ganze Story plus überzeit modus und level 50.
Man kann es auch übertreiben mit nerfing.

Insgesamt ein gutes Remake nur hat es mit der originalen Erfahrung nix mehr zu tun ausser dem Namen.
Wer sich durch ein spiel durchschlafen will ist hier bestens aufgehoben.
Würde sagen so 20 euro ist es wert. Unter diesem Preis kann man zuschlagen.

Aber insgesamt spiele ich das Original lieber.

Eigentlich ein nettes Spiel wenn da nicht die ganzen Kleinigkeiten wären die den Spass hemmen.

1-Die Waffen sind ohne die Goldenen Violinen teilweise unbrauchbar. Drei Shotgun schüsse für den anfangsgegner ist einfach zu viel. Ok man kann mit zwei schuss auf dem Kopf den typ auch killen aber es bleibt ja nicht bei einem Gegner. Wären die Waffen auf Normal evel ohne die Violinen wäre es viel spassiger.

2-Die Entwickler haben nicht die geringste Ahnung von Gegner Positionierung. Es ist standart das man in einen kleinen Gang reinrennt und hinter einem Spawnen normale und Explodierende Gegner. Mit Skill kommt man da nicht weg. Ausser man weiß das sie kommen. Aber das hat ja nicht mit Skill zu tun. Alleine durch das stirbt man unschuldig viel zu oft. Und das schon auf normal möchte gar nicht wissen wie es auf höheren Graden ist.

2- Das Optionsmenü ist armselig. Einfach nur Low.medium,high und Ultra. Keine Chance zu wissen was das überhaupt bewirkt.

Warum ich das Spiel dennoch empfehle? Weil es einzigartig ist. Es macht eigentlich Spass wenn man sich mit dem ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ abgefunden hat. Was ich langsam denke das es sogar Absicht ist. Ich meine ILL WILL! Da will man ja aufs Maul bekommen wenn man das kauft. Die Atmosphäre kann man mitn Messer schneiden so ♥♥♥♥ ist die.
Insgesamt ein netter Shoter der sein Potential einfach mal zuhause gelassen hat. Kann man sich im Sale mitnehmen.

Keinen Plan was sich da manche Rezensions schreiber für substanzen reinballern aber das ist so ziemlich eines der nutzlosesesten tools die ich in meinen 40 Jahren Gaming getestet habe. Ja man hat 120 Frames und nein damit spielen ist sinnlos der Lag ist so heftig das von Flüssig keine Rede sein kann.

Das ist eines dieser Tools das man mit aktivierten Palzebo rezeptoren im Hirn benutzen sollte. Wenn man es aber nüchtern betrachtet ist es sinnlos. Ein zustand in dem keiner ist der eine Positive Rezension zu dieser Software schreibt.

Und nein das es nur 6 euro kostet macht die sache nicht besser. Nur weil ein Pfeil ins knie nichts kostet ist es kein guter Deal. Das ist aber der beste Beweis das man mit Werbung egal ob real oder vollkommen aus der Luft gegriffen Geld abgreifen kann.

Wie sehr ich diese Gaming Landschaft langsam zum kotzen finde kann ich gar nicht in worte fassen ohne dafür in den Knast zu gehen.

Ich liebe Returnal so viel mal zu meiner einstellung zum Spiel an sich.

AAAAAAABER warum muss ich einen Konkurenz Launcher installieren um das zu starten. Was eigentlich kein grosses Problem sein solle. Jedoch ist dieser von Gott verdammte Launcher so ein Drecks Teil an Software das er lieber irgendwelche abhängigkeiten von Epic Downloadet und überprüft statt das Spiel zu starten.

Ich sage es in aller Deutlichkeit Scheiss auf Epic und scheiss auf Tim Schweini. Statt ein besseres Erlebnis mit dem Launcher zu programmieren setzt es sich überall rein und zwingt dich den Dreck zu installieren.

Leider kann ich das Spiel nicht mehr zurückgeben darum sage ich es in aller deutlichkeit. Wenn du eines der besten Spiele der letzten Jahre spielen willst kauf dir ne PS5 und spiel es da drauf. Ist zwar auch ein gottloses Stück plastik Sondermüll, aber wenigstens startet Returnal da.

Ach ja und wenn ich schon dabei bin ich hoffe fortnite explodiert und nimmt epic Megascheissgames gleich mit. So eine Miese Gaming zukunft die wir diesen Geldgeilen Soziophaten zu verdanken haben.

Aber wenn ihr wuch den ganzen müll antut um das Spiel zu starten.... Na ja dann ist es einfach nur geil. Aber ich kann nicht im guten gewissen zulassen das sowas die normalität wird. Dann könnt ihr eure Spiele da hin stecken wo die Sonne nicht scheint. Dann geh ich 100% Retro ihr heinis.
