I just
The more I've played this, and the further I've gotten, the less and less I want to recommend this game
There's so many examples of just a confusing amount of a lack of polish that it just makes me saddened by how much I've grown to dislike the experience
The game looks good - the art style is charming and hearkens back to much, much better 3D platformers, but that's really where my praise kind of stops

Each level is essentially the same, besides some surface level environmental palette changes. There are very, very few examples of unique challenges inspired by the world you're currently in, and each setpiece is essentially just a mishmash of blocky outcrops and floating platforms connecting them, which loses its charm by world 3.
The camera and general movement is really sluggish, which just rubs off on everything as time goes on.
I feel like a lot of the applications for the titular Frogun are surface level, which really sucks because conceptually it could lead to some really engaging scenarios, but it usually just boils down to just grappling, pulling switches, and throwing objects.

Overall, if you're looking for a cheap 3D platformer to put a few hours into, go for it. It's pretty cheap and you can probably get some enjoyment from it, and that's what I'm really basing my recommendation off of. If you're looking to 100% every level and go for as many achievements as possible, however, the lack of polish will just show more and more, and you'll probably end up growing frustrated with the game, like I have. Will I still beat it? Absolutely, but only because I'm so close to the end. I'm really, really hoping that Encore fixes a lot of the issues people have had with this game.

Only for the masochistic. This game will challenge you to your limits. Luckily for you, the game has more than 300+ items that will hep you on your journey through the basement. You can play as 10 characters, all of which have their own metas and starting items. This game is well worth your time and effort.
