It's not a setup, it's a preference, df1,1 into parry works on everyone if they jab it's just that I would usually sidestep EWGF you but I couldn't due to you being paul with his big jabs. Hence I had to use the parry which you were criticizing.

Literally never use df1,1 into punchparry unless I'm fighting Feng Marduk Paul Gigas or Negan as their jabs will track my sidestep, you were jabbing into it, what more can I say?

Alright, it sure looked like you did. Rank has nothing to do with being good at breaking throws or not, it all boils down to how much time you spend practising that specific skill.
