While I definitely do think the game sorely needs the upcoming additions and tweaks to the combat system that are projected on the roadmap, the combat isn't really the sole draw of the game. My biggest complaint is that it's a little easy to bulldoze through all the unlocks and then you're just spinning your wheels through the last dungeon or two because you took your sweet time unlocking stuff. Otherwise I genuinely enjoyed this game, it's super cute, silly, and the may the Lamb Reign Supreme.

Nuclear Throne is brutal, but in that way where every time you die you go "Okay, just one more time!" But you just keep playing.

I really wanted to like this. I really did. I love Japanese folklore and aesthetic, but this game is insanely repetitive. It's build around discovering the identity of the spirits, but after you do they don't stay permanently identified. So you have to keep doing the same repetitive battles over and over and over. It's clearly very ambitious, and has a great localisation... but I cannot recommend it at all.

BioShock Infinite isn't perfect - far from it. However, it's still a solid game with beautiful visuals, amazing music, and enjoyable characters. It's a refreshing departure from so many other AAA FPS titles. Colorful, atmospheric, unique in it's setting. If you're going into this fresh I implore you to pick up the Burial At Sea DLC alongside it, because it adds a whole layer of story/development on top of the game that I feel like it sorely needed.

Also, this game has the Luteces who are worth 5/5 stars in their own right. That is all.
