Yeah do not buy this till they get rid of the no opt out spyware. To add this after being released fully for years without it and to force this is disgusting.

I finally figured out why the game would quit on startup. Turns out my motherboard had a custom bios on it from a custom computer builder that I purchased my pc from. A cousin of mine said he had to update his motherboard bios to get the game working for him. I did a little digging and after an hour on the phone with the pc producer, I can now play Elden Ring.

I have already beaten and played through on my PS4 but I am really excited to play with my pc friends and explore the seemless coop mod for the game.


(Previous review for contex: I want to play this game so badly but it flashes a white screen and crashes for me on startup. I pass the specs. Please fix this and I will gladly change this rating. I really want to.)

This is one of the few games on steam that I have recommended to anyone looking to pick up a game. The different classes allows anyone to connect with a play style they enjoy playing. Each role is helpful but not completely necessary for every situation so the game encourages you to play the other roles. Each cave is a completely new experience and keeps the game fresh. I see myself playing many more hours of this game.
