Disco Elysium is a beautifully written, heartfelt, world-bending game with art so capturing that my boyfriend and I have separately purchased the vinyl. It is one of the best of its genre. I generally don't fall for mystery games, but I'm always weak to compelling characters and story-rich environments. This game has both of those things, while offering a brutal philosophy on its world and ours.

So why the negative review? Because you shouldn't bother purchasing it. The original crew's stake in the game were ruined by some scum investor Tõnis Haavel. While you may feel neutral about where your money goes, sending it directly to a fraud is another.

Between having to reload the game every single checkpoint because either Jackie traps you in a room or simply nothing happens, the game is very pretty when it decides to render properly (which is hardly ever).

The witness is unforgiving in ways that a video game should be, and makes me wish other puzzle games were styled like this. It doesn't hold your hand, and forces you to think in ways that will make you think your third eye is opening. I'd be lying if I didn't tell you I got frustrated now and then, but I'd also be lying if I told you that I think this is a keystone puzzle game that's good for this genre.

Borderlands 2 is a fantastic game to play with friends. Although it's casual, this game is very time consuming in that it's hard to put down. Some of the memes are kinda forced, and there is a few jokes that are pretty bad, but the overwhelming rewarding content and diversity offered in this game more than make up for it.

I bought this game because I was looking for a fun, cooperative game to play with friends that wasn't taking itself so serious, but had the elements it takes to be a RPG, and this game is exactly what I was looking for.
