Little Laps is beautifully simple, yet wonderfully challenging. The visual style is very pleasing and almost soothing. I bought the game for myself and my nephew so we could play at the same times. It's facilitated us being able to bond over crashing out frequently.

Intriguing little game to have in the corner of the screen to give you a break from what you're doing. I enjoy the incremental progress, but I love feeling OP.

Addictive, fun, and simple in all the right ways. Desktop Defender is a great thing to have open when I'm doing game dev and the code is beating me, cos then I can level up my defender and watch it slay.

Lighthaze World is calming and challenging at the same time. The puzzles gradually get more complex, but there is always a way to solve them. The environment and music relaxing. I can relate to Nym's journal entries. My favourite puzzle is the light refraction.

Recommended: Exceptional remake and improvement!

Overall impression and recommendation:
Age of Mythology Retold is an addition worthy of the AoE franchise (I pretend AoE3 doesn't exist). It satisfies the nostalgia of a player who got the original release, and is redone so expertly as to please new players as well. The graphics are amazing. The music is divine.

Gameplay and controls:
The gameplay is classic Age of Mythology, and gave me all those good nostalgic feels. Most of the controls are good, but the only thing I don't like is the delete (X) button in the unit panel. I'm used to clicking on that to deselect units. Each of the sets of Gods have a different way to gain favour. Doing the campaigns help teach the differences.

Story and characters:
I am finding the new civs interesting to play, especially the Atlanteans.

Graphics and audio:
The graphics are a huge step up from the original, as expected after so much time (I feel old). The music is divine, as usual, and I have already added the soundtrack to my AoE playlist on Spotify, which I listen to often.

Recommended: Give the demo a try!

Overall impression and recommendation:
In Lighthaze World Demo, we get a small taste of the full game to come. There are several logic puzzles which gradually increase in complexity, but not getting too hard. The graphics are simple but pleasant. The music is relaxing. I adore Chewy the dog already!

Gameplay and controls:
We collect coins and solve logic-based puzzles to progress through the game. Some involve stepping on buttons in a certain order, some involve moving boxes to fit a pattern to complete a circuit. The controls are simple and easy to learn, which I like.

Story and characters:
As Nim, we travel through the wilderness led by our dog Chewy. The demo story is to get back to Lighthaze World, which is a nice little introduction. I am eager to see more of the world, and more Chewy!

Graphics and audio:
The graphics are low poly but fit in with the feel of the game. I found the simplicity of the game objects (boxes, buttons, etc) helpful in solving the puzzles. The music is beautiful! I found it very calming.

I backed Astro Colony on Kickstarter, and they haven't failed to deliver. Even in the beta the game was fun to play. It reminds me of a mix between Factorio and Satisfactory, so if you like either/both of those then you will love Astro Colony. It's also fun to play with friends!

This is a game that immediately got my attention, so I bought it. I have only played a little, but i have enjoyed it so far. It's challenging to figure out what to do sometimes, but it is also very satisfying being able to figure it out and build stuff. There are plenty of help pages online if she want hints.

The graphics are quite good, considering this is made by a smaller studio and it's an open world. The ambient sound and sound effects are good. It runs quite smoothly on my gaming laptop, including streaming it via HDMI to my TV so I get a bigger screen.

I would like to see some in-game easy tutorial achievements to help new players learn the basics.

Factorio is wonderously fun, challenging and slightly frustrating (in a good way) all at the same time. My friend bought this for me so I could play with them. There is such freedom in how you build your factory layout, which good and bad consequences. I personally prefer to play without the challenge of pissing of the local wildlife, but you can play it either way.

It's amazing what can be achieved with some iron and copper ore, some stone, water and oil. The goal is to launch a rocket. I haven't got that far yet, but I am happy to keep plodding along at my own pace until I get there.

+ Has a huge technology tree to research!
+- Time consuming.
- I'm still figuring out a good layout so my transport belts don't get full.
