if you are looking at this game because you heard good things about it turn around. it is JRPG garbage with constant QTE sequences, a progression system you have to google because it doesn't make any sense, and 20th century lip sync technology. also, for some reason, shadowheart was the chosen voice for a teenage girl and it is extremely uncanny. the game is not worth the ~$40 it is charging, wait for it to go below $20

Everyone deserves a third chance. Owlcat has put out a much better RPG compared to their PF games. The companions add value to the story, the colony/trading system is neither obnoxious nor tedious, and it's a great setting. The game isn't perfect and you will get bugs, but it is still one of the best modern CRPGs money can buy.
