Actually much better than expected, especially performance wise.

Visually this game is way more gritty and dark than DOOM Eternal but honestly that is a strength for this game having its own identity, and it genuinely looks amazing.
The cutscenes in this game are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beautiful to look at, especially in the last 6 or so chapters.
Performance wise, I was getting 200+ fps on Nightmare settings with FG set to 2x, felt like pure freshly churned butter. Much better than I was expected considering how the reviews were looking when the game first launched, although I do have a rather mid-high end build so your experience may differ.

Recommend picking this up on a sale if you're on the fence, really fun despite being a big shift from the extreme fast pacing of Eternal, keep in mind it is still is quite fast paced once you learn how to use all of the abilities after the first couple chapters.

I absolutely adore this game, if you're on the fence due to other reviews based on combat (which is fine and not even that bad, just pick a lower difficulty if it's not your thing) or soyjacks hating on the very VERY basic premise of the stroy - pick it up on a sale, or join a steam family of someone who has a copy.

This is my first Silent Hill game, I grew up more on Resident Evil than this series, and I do understand that people rip on this game for barely being a true 'Silent Hill' title - due to not being set in the titular town. While that may be true, do not let that discount how great this game is.

The true ending was a beautiful, bittersweet way to tie off everything from all the other endings the game offers. Everything feels very true to the time it is set and doesn't feature anything that seems too 'modern' for the period it takes place in.

It saddens me that I have nothing more to explore or unlock in this game, however I can definitely see myself returning to this game in future as a nostalgic playthrough or even multiple. (BioShock is an example of a game that has done this for me in the past)

I would recommend you at least try this game out if you get the chance, and if you're confused but still entrigues after the first ending - keep going, explore the other endings. (or watch videos if you can't be bothered replaying of course)

First time completing a souls-like game.
Very addicting gameplay, felt a need to grind to get stronger which helped a lot. I'm sure the souls games are much harder but this was a good introduction to the genre.
Looking forward to CODE VEIN 2 when it drops

Like many others early on, I wasn't too hot about this game; But my god did it get me hooked once I decided to play some more of it.

The Story and Visuals are incredible, bugs are still there but not too bad to ruin the experience. (except for one singular NCPD hustle being bugged and requiring me to redo the entirety of Heywood for 100%)
Thanks to CET I was able to experience every ending back to back and get 100% achievements without having to play through an extra 30+ hours. (and if you too are going for 100%, i would recommend doing the same).

This is now up there with my favourites in terms of single player story games, while some may not agree; I really enjoyed the building of relationships throughout the story and how it impacted the end of the game and credit sequences.

Only played the 90 minute trial but very happy with my experience. I never played the original Dead Space so this is all very new to me but the 'limb-oriented' combat system feels very smooth imo. Game also runs fairly well at 1440p with a RTX 3080 which is always a welcome addition with any new game. (Had game set to Auto Graphics and Auto DLSS settings, ranged between 120-160fps consistently and never stuttered or looked poorly.)

One of the greatest games I've played.
Amazing fight mechanics that feel very fluid, great story and side quests that don't feel too tedious like some other games like this. Still yet to finish my 100% achievements but I've enjoyed almost the whole journey !Sigrun (and the first 2 or 3 valks) and the Niflheim mist chamber are the most stressful part by far but still great fun

Most fun I've had on a Halo game in forever, beautiful graphics as well

Now that I've played the campaign thanks to Xbox Game Pass, that is the best Campaign 343 has made and is the most fun and invested in the story a Halo has made me since I was 8 playing Reach for the first time.
