I don't know how many times as a fan of a franchise I have been burned by a title I was so hyped for, I was so incredibly hyped for this game... and it smashed my expectations completely.

It does everything KCD1 does, but better... much better. Frustrated with the combat when fighting more than two enemies? Fixed. Annoyed that every peasant in the game becomes a legendary swordsman once you learn the master strike? Fixed. Saviour Schnapps to hard to come by? Fixed. About to get stuck in a long part of the game with limited access to the free open world? You get a warning screen now (Looking at you 'A Woman's Lot' DLC) and countless more improvements.

The optimisation on this game is perfect, which is sadly something that has become a novelty these days, it runs so well in every part of the game. These optimisation improvements come along with a game that visually, is a massive improvement on KCD1, the countryside, castles, landscapes, villages and the city all look amazing.

The storytelling in this game is on another level to the first one, even the optional side quests are absolute top tier, I would argue this might be the best storytelling of any game I've ever played.

The best RPG I've ever played by a country mile, I can't wait for the DLC's to come out!

Brilliant game, takes ages to get anything done but gets addictive when things start moving along. Also watch out for Gandhi the devious sandal!
