I started this game back in early 2016, played very heavily for about two years. I had played a couple hundred hours of Quake Live beforehand, and that was the only FPS experience I had. I remember my very first duel I got destroyed 60-0. But I was still hooked immediately. I was drawn to the combination of relatively straightforward mechanics and a very high skill ceiling, along with the addictive movement system; at the time, I saw it as Quake Live but with better movement. Unfortunately, the playerbase died off a few years ago (people still play, but it's just much less). However, I still come on sometimes and jump around on race maps while I listen to other forms of media. If you're interested in this game, I would recommend joining the game's official discord, since that's the best way to find people to play with.

I guess this review is relatively pointless at this point, given that the game is mostly dead anyway (not trying to discourage people from trying it, I just mean that the review would have been more helpful a few years back when there was active support for the game and a larger playerbase). But I nevertheless wanted to write it as a thanks for the many hours of fun that this game gave me. It remains to this day the best game I've ever played.
