Early Access Review
I just cannot recommend this game for now. It can be really fun and challenging but in this current state it is just way to unstable. The developers and GameSeer really need to learn one lesson:
Early Access is your release.
And while I enjoy the direction the game is taking so far, I've been stuck in a commoners tournement for an hour of my playtime now and I am just not allowed to even swing my sword without the game and whole GPU driver crashing on me.
I am running an AMD build (Ryzen 7 3700X non-OC/RX 9070 XT vendor OC). I tried tweaking the settings, I tried changing up things in the GPU driver utility, I tried pre-caching shaders and allowing for Vulkan shaders to be processed. I deactivated my second monitor and had nothing open next to the game. I even filed bug reports at AMD as it shouldn't be affecting the driver that much just because a game crashes.
It is not helpful to just get a "Fatal crash" error message which you'll need to reach around to close and I think I only got a different error message once.

On the side of level design the game could use some improvements I'm looking forward to:
- It's not always noticable when collapsing objects can be interacted with. It's a neat idea but the first time left me rather confused. (Alley)
- The slums could use some fine tuning as the slump in the slums level seems to be too steep. You could spawn and just fall over without any interaction or stumble at your first step.
- I know insuring gear is a neat mechanic and you want your game to be on the harder/unforgiving side but I am at odds. Of course you can farm up money but maybe an economy difficulty slider could make the game even more challenging.
- On the other hand the Abyss seems a bit to hard for me. The jittering, the completely different set of mechanics and hitboxes doesn't match the game direction for me. I like the idea of making it more scary but I don't know how to feel about it. I feel like a Carnage or Buhurt direction could fit the Abyss a bit better.

Gameplay wise I like that you did streamline the handling mechanics. It makes it a bit easier to control the character and predictive movement of your own character. I like the equipment hud a lot and the way weapons can be crafted. A focus on handling and mass on for example a mace is a lot of good fun.

Half Sword can be really fun but given the amount of crashes on even a single entity I'm looking forward to a more stable build.

Great game for puzzle enjoyers. It's a sort of grim story in a cloak of mystery. Also a bit of management sim as you tent to arrange your plants so they are sorted and have some space. Good grab on sale.

It's a drug infused arcade/robbery shooter. Either you like it or not. The story is completely bogus, but it's all about the money. Best to play with friends.

Early Access Review
Don't get me wrong, it's an okay game, but I feel like they've released it way to early, even for a early access release. Graphics are fine, tasks are sometimes funny, sometimes challenging but also repetitive, the UI and the controls aren't really user friendly. Always keep in mind that early access is your release.

I was a bit afraid that the game would overwhelm me. The entry into this game is easy, maybe a bit outdated as I am a bit late to the party, but man this game is good. Pick it up if you can.

Check this game out. It's honestly good. If you have a mate and like a tacops evening, get this one.

They've listened. I don't blame Arrowhead all to much but it takes the pair that Sony doesn't have to admit mistakes. Now go on and spread democracy.

Ready for Redemption?
Ready or Not has successfully redeemed itself. The AI is fun and versatile and managed to capture the actual target of SWAT-based gameplay. Capture and rescue wins the game. This was something I worried about, as during the beta, even run and gun could've giving you a good rating.

With the new maps and new mechanics Ready or Not captures an angonizing spirit normally found in horror games. You'll need to follow the briefings. Solving a case is none of your business. You'll do the damage control, the dirty work. The sound feels real enough that every bullet you fire really fills the thought if firing it was necessary.

The game itself also looks really good. That might be the only caviat. You do need a good rig to play it on steady 1080p at 60 FPS. DLSS can do a lot of heavy lifting but you don't need all of the details, DirectX 12 or all effects. The game manages to be visually asthetic I can play it well enough with a 3rd Gen Ryzen 7 and RTX 2070 Super.

VOID really did leave us in suspense with one year without a lot of having something to show for, but it takes time to actually have a product to show for.

Good work!
