Honestly I can't find any dirt on this game, diggin' everything so far,
controls are great and drilled into you early on, now all I gotta do is get my booty on the grind!

...10/10 would pierce heavens again.

First let me start off by saying the "Mixed" reviews on Steam is a little bit off,
but considering the gamer audience these days, this game would've probably gotten "Overwhelmingly Positive" if it was picked up by a 30k viewer Twitch stream.

The game is good.
It is well worth the asking price, with about 10-12ish hours of gameplay if you account for all the sidequests and the mini-collectathon.
A neat mix of adventure, metroidvania, story, setting, artstyle.
Looks great, plays great, with some obvious inspiration taken from multiple sources that I won't quote for spoilers sake.

It's pretty damn good! And I wish there was more!

There's a few downsides, and some of them are very obvious during the game.
I haven't ran into any game-breaking bugs or such, but there's a flood of misspelling and inconsistencies, character names being written wrongly or assets not matching previously established scenes, which was very weird to see.
Some shoddy Quality Control prior to launch, but that could be fixed via a patch to remove the errors.

If you're into the Cyberpunk setting with a very reigned-in Anime aesthetic GET THIS GAME, at least on a sale if you can't afford it otherwise.

Hell, gift it to your metroidvania/cyberpunk friends, they'll get a kick out of it for sure.
Especially if they happened to watch Evangelion.

Great example of an amazing early access title.
For such a small fee there is so much fun to be had, and the game just feels right.
Grab a couple friends, gift to a couple friends, go have fun.

But when you feel that the combat, which is the sole core of any roguelike experience,
is lacking this heavily, the game just falls apart.
Unless the devs somehow make the combat feels more visceral and impactful,

I'd highly recommend that you get some friends to play with,
because the friendly banter will make up for the rest of the experience.

But in that case, the entry price is just too high.

I do hope, for their own sake, that the Devs do something with the feel of this game,
because the rest is spot on. The game looks gorgeous with it's "Zelda Wind Waker" style,
the present humor is quite chuckleworthy, and it does seem like it would be a good time.

Please, Devs, for your own sakes, and your own reputation, do something about it <3
You guys are definitely on the right track with this, but it needs to be better.

Dear God, Yes.
Storytelling, music, the feels, the mechanics. This baby has it all.
Do yourself a favor, PLAY THROUGH THIS GAME.

A great example of how to tell a story with your game, WITHOUT STUPID QUICK TIME EVENTS.
