for the love of god remakes don't have to be 100% accurate to the original to be good, and I'm saying this as someone who holds RE3 as their favorite game in the series. this remake does not invalidate the original and both can be appreciated by their own merits.
now that we have that out of the way, game's amazing. it's a perfect blend of survival horror and action; the dodge and crafting mechanics that made the original unique are translated very well to today's modern era. a pleasant surprise is that the writing and acting are genuinely fantastic while still incorporating a bit of the RE cheese we all know and love. overall it's a very memorable experience that I'd recommend to new and old fans alike
