Great for an absolute beginner. If you're more of an advanced beginner (say you already know hiragana and a pile of vocabulary), it's still good listening/reading practice to bridge the gap to more advanced media. Hopefully the game is successful enough to get a sequel that uses the same mechanics for learning kanji someday.

If you like board games you should get this game.

Nothing groundbreaking, but this is a very solid platformer for sure. Worth picking up if you're a fan of the genre.

Very underrated, worth a playthrough.
