I don't have time anymore to study every aspect in autistic detail in semi-realistic (War Thunder) to very realistic (DCS) aerial combat simulation games,
where you have to learn aerodynamics, your weapons, extensive list of controls, flight patterns and so on and so forth...

Nuclear option in these aspects hits perfectly in that sweet spot of "casually fun, but still immersive enough where you have to pay attention and not turn off your brain"

The game makes it clear from the get-go that you're a pilot, controlling an AIRCRAFT. no infantry, maritime- or ground vehicle control for you, only aircrafts...
However you still get to choose which ever style of combat you want to participate in, be it aerial combat, ground pounding, covert/stealth attack, BVR combat, etc...
or as the title suggests,
This game does a great job at giving you an adequate list of aircrafts and equally diverse list of weapons and ordnance to pick from.
Not too little, and neither an excess of too many aircraft of which many you probably won't end up trying anyway because of choice overload.
Just the right amount and each suited to a specific situation on the battlefield or in the air.

Silence tinnitus! the autoloading 180mm cannons are talking.

The gameplay gets repetitive rather quick, but holy moly I LOVE the new Soundtracks that came with the Fields Expansion. such great music to chil out to.

You can take Stalker out of the buggy, glitchy engine,
but you can't take the bugs and glitches out of Stalker.

There should be a lawsuit and legislative punishment for the kind of backhanded, backstabbing retroactively added Terms of Service mandates. I'm beyond sick and tired of gamers getting shafted left right and center every time they want to have fun.

This has to be the best 20 bucks I've ever spent to satiate my never ending autistic desire to design Aircraft and I think my hours logged so far speak for itself
