This is one of the few roguelites out there that actually scratches the same itch as Balatro. Peak visuals, gameplay, and music, and this is only just the demo.

There's an extreme amount of synergies available. I'm pretty sure there's more to unlock, but my personal easy-to-get favorite is Equity ring and Iron Dice. Using dice like The D7 for extra base score, Mirror for even more dice, and Angelicial Dice for a 1/3 chance of an insane base score boost, I certainly see the appeal of building your deck and breaking your run. This is that neuron activation many games failed to deliver. That dopamine rush when your score blasts through the roof.

Overall the balancing is decent, with a few issues here and there - but I'm sure they'll get fixed. There's a few dice I always avoid in runs because they feel practically useless. The RNG is forgiving, not too harsh if you know how to play, but it sometimes can and will destroy you. Eventually you'll switch from strategically organizing your deck to steamrolling bosses with a single dice throw.
