Played through this in just under 5 hours, and had a great time the whole way through.

Perfect time-waster game for those of us who really like watching numbers go up. A definite recommend!

A fun little incremental game. Took me about an hour to get through, and encourages replay to try and optimize to beat it faster.

Hey hey people, rock and stone!

Fun multiplayer game that's perfectly playable solo. Has a lot of heart and atmosphere to it, and the hazard levels accommodate for all levels of skill.

30 hours in, and I'm still only learning the game. Haven't gotten to the real meat of it yet (that being deep dives and the acquisition of overclocks). Seasons add even more content.

If you read this and you're still on the fence go to youtube and watch Ssethtzeentach's review of it. That's what got me interested, and besides it's very entertaining.

Make the weapon to hunt the monster.
Use parts from the monster to make the stronger weapon.
Use the stronger weapon to hunt the stronger monster.
Etc

Extremely grindy. But fun if you like grind and intense boss battles.

Yeah it's pretty good

Very simple premise: move around, avoid enemies, weapons attack automatically. Pick up xp gems to level up to get new weapons or improve the ones you have.
On the surface it seems so simple it seems almost braindead and at first it kind of is. But as you understand the game better, and gain an understanding of how weapons and evolutions work, you're going to see the game really open up and allow for some interesting (and in some cases very powerful) builds.

Lots of stuff to unlock, without making any of it too much a grind. And unlocking stuff feels like it matters.

All in all, for the enjoyment I've gotten from this game so far it'd be a steal at twice the price and a bargain at double that.

Good game. Shame about the billions of dollars worth of DLC needed to get full enjoyment from the game.

But it IS a really good game.

Blindly threw money at this game in Early Access (which I generally, on principle, don't buy) on the sheer promise that it's made by the Titan Quest people.

If you hated Titan Quest then stay away from this! Even though it's entirely disconnected as far as characters, story and setting goes, it still manages to be "Titan Quest, more of the same except improved".
However if, like me, you loved Titan Quest, then this game is basically what I said: more Titan Quest, except better.
It uses the same class/skill system, which is one of the best parts of both games.

Story is.... well it's there I guess. It's a fairly interesting world, but the story/plot of the game is pretty barebones. You're here for the gameplay and the loot, and the game delivers in that regard.

Haven't played it enough yet (but that's on me, not the game) but so far it's drawn me in and tickled my imagination.

For a 4X it's fairly intuitive and easy to get into.

Braindead shooter game. Very fun. Especially with friends!

Only thing I'll point out is that you might want to give it a miss if you are arachnophobic or entomophobic. Depending on how bad you have it of course.
