Yeah, this is the exact sort of game I'd get instantly sucked into the second I started playing. It's got bugs, the other bugs, none of the bugs you don't wanna see (that I've found, or, not found in this case anyway) and more. 10/10 would come home from work to play with bug friends! 🐝

I backed this when it was Kickstarter, and although it was never fully funded I just KNEW I'd love this game!
I've only played for an hour so far, but it definitely feels a lot like the original Lemonade Tycoon of way back when :)

This concept has been something I've been interested in for well over a decade (in terms of desktop 'pets'). The pixel graphics are perfect for this genre, and it's wonderful to see something I only attempted (albeit poorly) to create when I was (very) young... actually come to life!
I agree there are some things that seem unfinished, but the game's only just been released, really. Rather than leave a negative review straight away, leave it until it develops a little more - you must admit it has a lot of potential. I simply cannot wait to see what else is coming to this! Makes me want to revisit my old attempts at making something similar! I'd also like to point out for what this is, the price is just PERFECT!

As for suggestions, perhaps find a way to adjust how quickly their stats decline - although I appreciate the so-called 'babysitting', some people don't have that sort of time (and that's okay!). The menus also seem to have the sprites (i.e. dinosaurs, food, decorations etc.) float on nothing as it scrolls (for me at least), so it would be nice for those to stick within the window. Also, long dinosaur names don't actually fit in the window either - I know, I know, just give it a shorter name, right? - so maybe being able to resize that window would help... or make it wide enough to fit in the default dinosaur names, that works too!

The other day I was at work. I ended up having to pick cartons of eggs for some customers' online orders and I thought to myself, 'hey, I really want to play Duck Life, I wonder if it's on Steam'. Several hours later, on my break, I searched Duck Life on the store page... and here we are.... Can confirm Duck Life is on Steam (technically a different title). Still have to buy the others but I bought Duck Life: Retro Pack and Duck Life!

Judging by how this game magically manages to run somewhat smoothly on my really horrible broken old laptop I'd say yes, I'd recommend this. The only downside is that although the game runs smoothly the graphics are quite strange to say the least. Nothing majorly negative as of yet.
