Wow. Incredible game worth every penny. Can't give too many details but I'll do as much as I can without spoilers.

The game can be beaten within 30 minutes or so. Nothing is stopping you, except the fact that you don't know how. You rely entirely on exploring the solar system in your little ship or in your space suit, reading scraps of text from a long-dead advanced civilization. The clues string together and you figure out one piece of the puzzle. This helps you find more information for the next piece and after 20-40 hours or so suddenly you have all the pieces you need for one final, frantic, epic run through where you apply it all to get to an extremely satisfying ending. You don't unlock any abilities, equipment, skills. The only thing that you progress is your knowledge.

The only downside I can say is low replayability, if only because you can't really unlearn what you learned so it'll never be the same. The DLC (Echoes of the Eye) is also excellent and adds a ~20 hour campaign.

As a huge fan of Super Monkey Ball and Marble Blast Ultra this was a great game. Got gold on every level. Diamond on most.

Great game to not think too much and listen to my audiobook.
