A fun little horror project. The wording and vagueness of the objectives caused a little bit of flailing while trying to figure out what to do, but overall was an interesting playthrough. I definitely felt pressured to get things done on time.

While as of writing this the game does suffer from a few issues; both technical and design-wise, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has been a very fun experience. They've absolutely nailed the atmosphere and sound design for the game. There are a decent amount of bugs and poor optimization, but hopefully the coming patches will address those issues. The game does suffer from a balance issue in my opinion; enemies feel like bullet sponges while you get ripped apart like nothing, enemy spawn rates are weird and poorly implemented, repair costs are crazy, and NPC and enemy pathing is weird.

I think this game will be great in the next few months as they iron out all the weirdness, but is still very playable in its current state.

It really shows how much of a labor of love this game was. Voice acting was on point and the setting is great. I love Rambley.

What I imagine working for Amazon is like. 10/10

Complaining about how players don’t know how the game works when making it impossible to play at a higher tier without bleeding them for cash or making them spend unrealistic amounts of time. Really isn’t a good look is it?

Love the mixture of 50s brutalism and M.C. Escher trippiness. The callbacks to Alan Wake were awesome as well.

While The Beast Inside might not be the scariest game, it still delivers quite a few shocks while telling a unique story. Some of the QTE felt awkward at the time I played it but supposedly has been refined. For a Kickstarter game, it was very good!

Spooky and atmospheric, Layers of Fear 2 felt more like a survival horror than its previous installment. I still hold the first one as the best; but this was still an enjoyable play.

A truly terrifying experience; Visage is what psychological horror games should be.
