A very calming game to play with soothing music and a short and gentle story to follow that takes you through the seasons. More of a puzzle solving game than a farming sim. Once you get into it you can build up a very satisfying vineyard with healthy profits and in the later game have fun with trying to unlock all the flavour profiles whilst hiring workers if you want to step out of micromanagement.
Before playing this I had absolutely no idea about wine making or even wine and now find myself examining labels and checking out grape varieties...
Overall if you like figuring things out without being spoon fed and want a relaxing game with puzzle elements, go for it!

I've been playing this game since it first came out, and it has never once been boring. Some players may find it frustrating, but I love how the game mechanics can completely throw you off track. I have at different times been thrown out of my kingdom, assassinated by my wife, become an inbred child of 1 trying to hold a kingdom, conquered and lost Jerusalem and have loved every second.

It may be harder but I would really recommend playing in ironman mode - it removes the temptation to engineer circumstances to suit you, and you will find that you will very quickly grow as a player!
