This game was a lot of fun, very challenging at times (I'm pretty bad at bullet-hell games), charming, has a little bit of choice/roleplay in it that can be a bit tense, and the story is built to get very emotionally deep, both high and low, if you get into it. There's a replayability factor too.

I really, really enjoyed the story, characters, setting, music, and the jokes/drama. Everybody experiences stories differently, especially for video games, but I thought Undertale nailed what it tried to convey. Cinematically spot-on, and I'd argue it totally out-does the visual/narrative impact of many games out there.
I'd tell you all the emotions I felt during my playthrough, but that might give away too much about how the story could surprise you. Best to find out on your own.

My only real main knocks on it are that initially the battle-system took me a little bit to understand fully -- I had to assess how I wanted to play this game -- and some challenges of the game could have had some clearer hints; other puzzles perhaps even a little more difficulty and breadth, but I still felt satisfied with the gameplay results.

Despite it's low-fi visuals and text-based combat/feedback (leaving much of the action unfortunately to your imagination), NEO Scavenger still gave me plenty of chills with its eerie atmosphere, attention to detail, music, and RNG events. The game forces you to weigh the consequences of any action you do, and be timely about it. There's a lot of replayability since you can choose from a wide arrange of skills and strengths/weaknesses at the start, which will alter your decision-making and options.
I have a short play-time since I mostly played the demo, but it's a surprisingly complex game that more survival games should take notes from. The vibe is spot-on; creepy, harsh, and very mysterious.

Take a strangely-beautiful movie and put a joystick in your hands.

It's like a children's book you'd never forget. The puzzles are no childs-play, though; this game will really get your brain cogs working.

I went in with low expectations. I've watched a friend play Saints Row 2 back in the day and thought, yeah, this game is funny, sure, but c'mon... no sandbox series is as good as GTA, right? Surely GTA's realism trumps any kind of silly comedy or ridiculous, cartoony action... Well, Saints Row: The Third proved me wrong.

This game just plays so good, in all facets. The controls are tight and feel natural and quick (Using an Xbox controller). The missions are truly hilarious and zany -- I figured that the lack of true realism would be a detriment, but often times it's a catalyst for creativity and surprising features. There's a lot of excitement and spontaneity, and you don't get too bogged down playing the game just one way for too long. Hectic combat, action, speed, explosions, mini-games; there's a lot of different gameplay to mix things up. Add in the story and presentation, cool interaction with your character and NPC's, personalization, upgrades, and the opportunity to make choices that affect the outcome of the narrative, and you get quite a lot of entertainment.

I have a few small gripes with the game, mostly after I already finished it, but nothing critical that would stop me from playing. Overall, I think it breaks the mold of being just a "funny GTA clone" and is really an enjoyable heck of a time.
