He smells kind of like a freshly mowed lawn. But not too freshly mowed. Kind of like a day or two after, when you can still smell all of the grass but it's not as pungent. You can really tell because if you don't bag your grass, then the short cut-off blades are starting to turn brownish and get dried off. However, I hear that if you don't bag the grass, you can go over the lawn twice to really shred up all the grass you missed. I guess it's really just a matter of opinion, but that's my suggestion. It really depends on the level of service you give your lawn. Some people have a lot of time so they really invest their time into the state of their lawn, while some only cut their grass and move on. Lawn care is an important factor in the resale value of a house, and can also be a major factor in the overall condition and well-being of the yard. Never forget, "if you don't mow, it'll just grow".
