One of my favorite RPGs. Just expect an occasionally frustrating experience when it comes to combat or fulfilling certain quest objectives that aren't entirely clear.

I think the combat in the second game is fantastic, but in this one I use the mod that removes the Master Strike and Tackle abilities from weaker NPCs like low level bandits and peasants. It sucks to get randomly jumped by 4 guys with clubs and pitchforks and lose 45 minutes of progress.

I thought this was gonna suck but it's more fun than Elden Ring. Constant action.

Boring, thoroughly predictable story.

I had a little fun sneaking around. I was hoping for a quest like the monastery infiltration in KCD1. They don't even really bother to take away your stuff in this one. They take only your weapons and armor, but one of the first guys I talked to gave me a sword anyway.

Frequent NPC T-posing lol.

It's more Kingdom Come, but better polished than the first game. If you didn't like KCD you probably won't like KCD2.

I think it's overhyped. It's okay. I couldn't stick with it.
The tone is all over the place. I found the writing incredibly predictable. The UI is disorienting. The camera is nauseating.
I just took a break for Silksong and realized I wasn't having fun.

this is probably my favorite deckbuilder

I enjoy the art and audio a lot more than Slay the Spire and there are more ways to break a deck

it's more Monster Train

currently too unstable to really be enjoyable, especially if you use bows
sneak attacks with bows are glitchy and sometimes archery makes you crash, so I've had to switch entirely to using daggers

I'm enjoying a lot of the other changes (except for the constant orange haze, but reshade is helping with that)

game is already worth full price (currently $20) to me
active devs doing complex work
gun customization and handling are great, you can almost smell the creosote
pretty spooky/funny SCP shenanigans
