Slay the Spire 1.5 maybe? The same game - but AGAIN! WOAH 95% POSITIVE RATINGS.

ehhh.... maybe some people will get some enjoyment out of this game, but I tried and just can't.

I tried to get into this game twice and I just can't. Honestly seems super overrated.

I had some fun worth out of this game. I got my dollar per hour out of this game which is the main thing I look for when deciding to recommend the game, but only just barely. I remember the first game feeling very empty, this game did not make me feel this way. For sure a better game than the first, and my expectations were dialed back. I enjoyed the companions, the story is fun, it doesn't get as deep as I expect, mostly putting on this thick layer of jokes and exaggeration over real world financial ideaologies. They added some better mechanics but man the skill system is terrible. I highly recommend getting the mod by goldenchrome on nexusmods that increases your skill points to 3 per level and the highlight distance by 2.5x. Greatly increases your enjoyment, I promise, with just this simple change. Otherwise you will feel behind in skills basically no matter what you do. and you still will basically just pick 3 skills and pick them, minus maybe points in others for perks.

Good game though overall, but if you don't care, likely wait on a sale. I had two playthoughs in 75 hours, with my first one being a long, completionist run, around 45 hours. I recommend playing on Hard for most people.

I land right in the middle on if I want to recommend this game or not. I'm saying no because of the overall score being high. I got this game for under $3 and considered refunding it. It's... okay. I got bored very fast. I don't like that rocks/trees only spawn in town or on the farm. That was just enough to keep me from playing anymore. Nothing really positive to keep me, the game is okay.... MAYBE worth $2 or $3.
