I remember when Overwatch 1 launched. Me and my girl back then used to play together with a bunch of friends and have a lot of fun. Sure, there was a lot of yelling with each other as well, but it was, overall, a really fun experience. On the weekends, we used to grind all day long, especially during events, to get those lootboxes, in the attempt to get epic skins. All of us did get some. I used to be a Reaper main since I am a depressed piece of s*** and all I wanted was to get every item he had. I never achieved that goal, but I always felt like getting closer and closer. And oh, when I got my golden guns... Jesus, I felt so powerful. I could finally act the edgy teenager I was. But, all in all, it was a beautiful world to live in.

But everything started falling apart, didn't it?

More and more cracks started to appear.

Friendships were ruined. Love was stabbed by lies. Hope was utterly destroyed.

So was Overwatch.

This a tale that tells to never trust the ones closest to you.

Especially if "you" are a game and "the one closest to you" is Activision.

All I wanted was for Modern Warfare II to be like Modern Warfare 2.

That, unfortunately, did not happen.

This game is a fckng masterpiece.
It made me cry a little, and the last time I cried with a video-game was in 2006 with Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater.

Buy this. It's not only a story about humanities future, but also about humanities past.

There is really one downside to the game, that made me really mad: when you change a choice you made, you need to replay ALL THE CHAPTERS that come after that change in order for the game to comprehend that you changed your choice - even if there were no linked events in between.

That got me REALLY PISSED because... SPOILER AHEAD! Connor got deactivated because I chose not to produce any evidence on Jericho. In order to keep Connor alive, I needed to shoot Chloe in the head, because it was the closest chapter. Otherwise, I would've need to replay a lot of chapters again, and I don't like being FORCED to do it. That's the only really dumb mechanic AND storyline - being forced to produce proof against Jericho even though Connor was already tending to be a deviant, and having no choice in the matter, AND being to replay a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of chapters OR shoot Chloe. I spent at least one hour to understand what was happening and to replay the necessary chapters.

In summary: 12/10. I fell in love with Fahrenheit, when I was only a teenager, and Quantic Dream made a masterpiece with Detroit.

This game is a lovestory between RimWorld and Terraria where Terraria has a son with Minecraft.

This is a game I needed and I didn't know. Buy this. Give the dev your money. NOW.

He deserves it and I would french kiss him because of this game.
