(dont just install the latest firmware. Check before hand of known issues if they are. I downloaded the second latest, as the latest had issues with my dlink..just a word of caution but Ive had no problems with the 2nd latest)

Then download this from Google Code to find your fastest dns servers that are local:

http://namebench.googlecode.com/files/namebench-1.3.1-Windows.exe

That made loads of difference for me. Hope it helps bro. X
