This game is very peaceful and I love it. If you like Townscaper, you might like this game, give it a try. My only issue is performance. Small plants work well, but the frame-rate drops as it gets bigger. Now, that's fine because I don't need high frame-rates to enjoy this game, except to a certain point. My tree got so big that the frame-rate was constantly 10fps, which feels like a slideshow, and makes the game not enjoyable, almost unplayable. If anyone is interested; I'm rocking a Ryzen 5 2600, Radeon RX570 4gb, 8gb ram at 2666Mhz, Win10 64bit V.20H2. So, my computer's specs shouldn't be an issue and yet performance just tanks with bigger trees. I still really enjoy it and highly recommend it, I would just like to see the performance issues fixed.

If you're not the type of person that enjoys heavy detective games or RPGs, keep reading, I'm one of those people. Paradise Killer did a great job of captivating me from the get-go. I'm not the type of person that was interested in games like Danganronpa, and I've always disliked RPGs, but Paradise Killer falls in it's own little spot that is awesome. Open world exploration, in conjunction with some tough puzzles, a bit of social engineering, and interpreting what you're given makes this game what it is. I really love the atmosphere (not for everyone), and the killer soundtrack. I thought that lots of mechanics were just flat out cool, like finding secrets and music tapes. Some mechanics are a bit annoying, like picking up currency shows a splash screen every time. This isn't a big deal, but one of the slight annoyances that contribute to this game feeling a bit slow. I was a bit skeptical about the 'open world' claims about this game, and boy was I surprised. Instead of being a linear story with one concise solution, you construct your own solution which I absolutely love. It is really fun to mentally connect two conflicting pieces of information and extrapolate any sort of suspicion on your own based on that (without the game's help!). Personally, I loved the atmosphere and soundtrack, which may not be for everyone but is well done in my opinion. The story is very deep, I lost it a few times but could generally keep track of what was going on. It did take a lot of attention, and gets really existential and flat out won't make sense sometimes. But, to be honest, I was still there just to enjoy being in the world rather than worry about the gods' higher powers or whatever. Of course, I'm still paying attention to the story, but you can certainly tone down your direct attention to the story and still have a blast. All the tid-bits you can collect and certain small side stories are cool as hell. If you enjoy exploring, doing your own thing, and appreciating video game atmosphere, Paradise Killer is awesome and I personally highly recommend.
