Would recommend to anyone who played the first game. Its more of the same although perhaps more streamlined and a tad less novel. There is also a pronounced lack of "period" settings compared to the first game; the scenes are either modern, futuristic, or sci fi. If you havent played the first game, just play that. there are themes that carry over and make the sequel make more sense.

this game is ROUGH. graphics are like a nice skyrim but the gameplay and world feel amateurish. theres probably a million skyrim mods or overhauls you should sooner play for free before you attempt to slog through this. I barely made it 2 hours, but I stopped, because looking ahead it seems like this game is an unbalanced mess with few viable builds into the late game. personally im not the biggest elderscrolls fan, but this game represents what will likely be my last attempt to enjoy this style of combat.

its mid, idk why it has such good reviews. majority of my play time was the application open in the background while i was distracted on social media or somesuch, very hard to care about the plot, characters, or events within the game. Its competent, well designed, and looks good, but its very linear and doesnt really push the envelope for point and click games despite having a somewhat novel game mechanic. if you really just want a weird scifi story with bad characters take a crack at it, but ill put a thumbs down if for no other reason than to be a drop of water in an ocean of positive reviews. buy it cheap, but its still a waste of time.

this game is like Daganronpa if it was set in the world of Return of the Obra Dinn.

its 33%-66% dei/woke with gay characters, themes of white guilt and reparations, acceptance of mariticide, general misandry and anti whiteness; nothing stronger than youd find in a modern motion picture though.

Overall a nice play, i'd recommend binging it and buying it on a steep sale.

within just the first quest after the opening scenes and tutorial, you will find yourself accompanied a white man, a black man, an asian man, and an indian woman. take your dei and shove it

its simply overrated. despite my rose tinted glasses having grown up on FF 6-10, and chrono trigger, neither the story nor the gameplay warrant the huge acclaim. perhaps this does stand head and shoulders over modern final fantasy titles and other triple A games, but i consider this to be a title with a promising enough beginning which ultimately betrays itself with an act 2 twist; arguably invalidating its own plot and character developement, and making something interesting into something trite.

Its a must play for Elden Ring veterans imo.
Probably pretty good if you just played some darksouls too.
Great with friends but perfectly competent with random players.
