First 5 minutes can't figure out how to open the gate with the sword flash. Spend 20 minutes trying to figure it out. Finally get it because i had to watch someone else do it on a stream.

Door says you need a key to open the door in the castle. I have the key already, ok great. Can't just press E to interact. I go to the inventory and equip the key. still can't open the door. Examine the key, nothing. I try pressing and holding CTRL. Nothing.

Who designed these controls? Im not spending 6 hours or watching videos to figure out how to interact with basic functions.

They make you press control before you can use or interact with various basic functionality rather than just walk up to it and press E or F to interact. Not excluding the fact the game doesnt tell you that you have to equip every individual item any time you want to use it. Not playing this trash until they fix the inputs. Korean game or not, take the guy that designed these controls out back and execute him.

And before you call me stupid, i have a PhD in Black Desert Online. Over 10,000 hours in BDO, so im a huge Pearl Abyss fan. I recognized some of the movesets in this game right off the bat. There is something to be said about not reinventing the wheel. Im not playing this ♥♥♥♥ until they fix the controls, end of story.

Edit: They've updated the controls so "I' opens inventory, "M" opens the map, "K" opens your skills, "J" opens your journal/quest log. This is an improvement, although, oddly these keybindings are not found in the keybind settings. Seems like it was a quick hot fix and not a complete follow through. I still have to hold escape and scroll wheel to pause and get to the exit/save/settings menu under the "other" tab. Holding escape to pull up a submenu was obviously meant for controller. Holding control to interact with vendors and doors is still asinine. Adding the keybinds is a step in the right direction, but i wont be changing my review until the controls are done properly.

I have fked up names for all my games. I call this one "where's the d1ck meat?"

Movement is a little slow for my taste. Attack speed and flashy animations are great though. I think this game is like the chinese version of black desert online(i call that one "black peasant online" because it will make you poor). Game is pretty fun.

Get to level 4. Get the worm boss. Dodge for 5 minutes and run out of health potions. Get the boss to 50% and die. Repeat 5 times. Uninstall. I played a lot of POE1 and got pretty far almost every time. Dodging for 5 minutes to beat a starter boss is not fun. I refuse to study 50 hours per build to make something that actually works. They'll say "skill issue" or "follow a guide." Nah bro, i been gaming over 30 years. I want to make my own ♥♥♥♥ and have fun doing it. I know how to make builds and win. Difficulty curve is not fun. Gameplay is garbage.

I give this game a 9/10. Although at first i was against the premise of being a drug dealer, i gave it a try since friends where playing it. I thought i wouldnt enjoy it, but i was wrong.
Pros:
-game runs smoothly with no stutters
-Gameloop is satisfying and a lot of fun
-Although we did find one bug where our game assets for the storage cabinets where out of sync, the game didnt crash a single time in a 12 hour play session. Just reloaded into my friends game, unlike a lot of triple A titles that come out these days. Says a lot about the developer
-although the map is small, you will spend a lot of time managing all the different parts of the drug empire efficiently
-its a nice chill game you can sit back and enjoy and not take everything so seriously
-lots of customers to unlock; unlocking dealers adds another layer of complexity to the drug emporium feel
-street names for different variants of drugs can be hilarious; absolutely loved selling "fat balls" and "sweet ♥♥♥♥" to customers XD
-blowing all the money you earned at the casino(or winning hopefully) is also hilarious

Cons:
-map is a bit small
-at first we had a bit of trouble with pathing for the hired NPCs at the bungalow. we found the trash can they where using to pick up trash was blocking the botanist from collecting all of the plants
-had a weird issue where my game assets where not synced with the hosts after an initial loading screen. just relogged and it was fixed.
-automation with hired NPCs is nice after you get it set up, but its not fully automatic. It gets a bit tedious managing everything once you grow past the bungalow setup; it would be nice if there was an NPC to manage deliveries and the delivery van can't hold very much. Manually restocking the shelves at bungalow is fun at first, but starts to get annoying fast. I think if they improved on this the game would be a 10/10

paid 110 dollars for the game to run like ♥♥♥♥ on a geforce 3080 and intel 14900K processor with 128gb of ram. will edit my review whenever they fix their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ code.

edit: downloaded the high resolution texture pack and it seems to have fixed my framerate issue.

additional edit: nevermind. still runs like trash and bogs down my system.

For a long time i wanted to give this game a thumbs down. My feelings. Mixed. I started this game in 2016-2017 thinking i was going to be in the top 1% of PVP players within about two thousands hours of playing. I was sorely mistaken. I approached this game with a bias of "be the most efficient, grind to the top, win." This is not that game. This is a journey. When 150 AP seems impossible and you finally reach 210AP, youll think you are at the top. Then youll still get one shot by players who out-gear you even further. Finally you reach full TET(260AP) after years of playing and still getting one shot by even stronger players.

Over the past 4 years of playing this game on and off ive invested 3-4 thousand dollars in this journey. BDO is a gaming hobby all by itself. The majority of that was on "pay for convenience things." I did dabble in a few hundred artisans memory along the way to ease the pain of enhancing, but i prefer to earn my gear and not waste my time gambling. I've rage quit many times because of the way RNG enhancing works, but every time i come back after a small month or two break. After 6000 hours i've finally reached 260AP, and i still have so many things to do. As much as i hate the enhancing system, the combat is the best in any MMO i've ever played. Personally, the combat mechanics is what keeps me coming back for more RNG punishment.

When they say "its a marathon, not a sprint." Dont ignore them like i did. It truly is a journey. The longest climb on the biggest mountain in the world. When you finally get close to the top and you see the peak, you dont just throw off your gear and say "fk it. im done" and turn around and quit. No, you go the last few steps even harder than you did the previous 10000. When you reach the top and you can crush anyone below you, its an immense feeling that "ive earned this every step of the way."

When people get impatient with enhancing they blow up their gear and ragequit. They got impatient and wanted the upgrades RIGHT NOW. This game is a test of mastering your patience, but reaching the peak is only the beginning.

One thing ive realized is, the more time you spend in this game, the better it gets. Getting to the top is difficult, trying, awe-inspiring and most importantly. Humbling.
